Book recommendations

Here's my book recommendations that no one asked for hehehe<3

1. Before the Coffee gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi.

Though this is his debut novel, the novel(s) are written in such a beautiful way, you feel connected to the characters. The themes depicted in the novel were some things I personally resonated with, to the point I continued reading the series and still wait for next one. The magickal thing about this book is that it depicts human connection and emotional depth through time-traveling. However, the rules are fixed and important to listen to as there are magickal consequences, which is an interesting take on time-traveling. One thing about the series is that you may read the books in any order and it all makes sense still. Or you may choose one book, and you still won't be confused. I recommend all the books but if one were most important amongst them. I pick the original.

Genre: Fiction, Fantasy and Magickal Realism.

2. The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J Maas.

Now, do I like Sarah J Maas. Simply put, no. But her Thorne of Glass series is definitely up there on my list. Her writing is very imaginative and enticing. Although, the book I recommend is NOT the book you read first of the series, it is definitely one of my favourites (there's a lot of debate which order of the books should be read in). It's definitely tragic but the YEARNING ughhh I love a good book with YEARNING~ This series follows an Assassin in fae world full of magick overrun by demons and other black magic, over the course of the books the lore becomes deeper and the characters become more interesting as they unravel hidden magick amongst themselves, books and hidden kingdoms.

Genre: Romance, Action/Adventure and Fantasy

3. This Book Won't Burn by Samira Ahmed.

It's a fantastic read, the book takes on topics like censorship, racism, relationships and social justice. The book follows a teen who loves books and has a special connection with book but had to move to a small town due to her parent's divorce. During the move, she finds herself having to advocate for herself and many others' education and their right to read any book. This book is a must read if you love character-driven plots with a lot of emotional depth.

Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Fiction and Suspense.

4. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins

The DRAMA, THE PLOT TWIST! Ughh this book is soo good, I couldn't get this book out of my head, after I read it, for a while every book I read after this didn't hit. This book takes on how it is to be part of the "A list" in Hollywood as the main character makes morally compromised decisions to continue her path in the luxurious lifestyle. The books also feature themes like: Love, Identify and historical contexts that massively impacted certain communities in America. You must read before the film comes out next year!!

Genre: Contemporary Fiction, Literary Fiction, Romance and Drama

Now, for number 5... I couldn't pick just one and I didn't want to continue writing so I'm just gonna list a couple here:

- Loveless by Alice Osman

-Radio Silence by Alice Osman

- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

- Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

- Today, Tonight, Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon

- The Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

- Love Her Wild by Atticus

- Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow

- Dear Self, by Patience Tamarra

Search 'em up

I promise you won't be disappointed.

If you read at least one of these books, I shall try one of your hobbies or whatever you want me to try~
