Things that I love that make life a little more bearable

I've realized we haven't done a lot of blogs that correlate to 'love' except for a couple appreciation posts. And I wanna go into the new sem with a positive energy and perspective! I actually realized how negative I perceive things and myself, which needs to change so instead of 10 Things I hate (about you), it's 10 Things I love!! This won't be in any particular order,

1. Dancing, though I have no skill for it and the fact I get shy when people ask me if I want to join sometimes scares me. I love the energy and the movements. I will always be dancing when one of my songs come on, it's one of the few joys I've found, even shaking and jumping up and down with the music does it for me. I actually have a morning ritual to dance off any bad energy, I encourage y'all to do the samee!

2. A clear, sunny morning during winter. Now, I absolutely hate the winter, because it doesn't make sense why any season has to get that cold. But there's this feeling I get when the sun beams through the cold and the temperature reaches the perfect temperature, not too warm and too cold but still a little crispy, I love it! Mornings like that make winter a little more bearable~ Just imagine a coffee- for those who don't drink coffee, imagine a hot chocolate and for L... imagine you liked hot drinks, imagine the steam coming out, while you sit outside enjoying the sun. AH the perfect moment with a book ofc!

3.  As we all know, I love baking! I'm actually surprised I didn't put this first, I'm pretty sure I've talked about the feeling and the process I love about baking, so I'll keep it short. Baking is an external output for my emotions. Yay!

4. Books and films, when nothing too bad happens! Ok, this could be why I'm very delusional, but I absolutely love it when the plot is good and comforting. Like mamma mia, the music is good, the plot is good, typical romance plot, I like it, it's simple and that's all I need. Too many bad things happen in the real world to want to watch something that stresses you out for a comfort movie.

5. The crunch of leaves, I just love it when you step on the crunchiest leaves and they make the loudest sound! AHH I love the asmr of it all!

6. Conversations with no end. I loveee talking, it literally could be about anything, and I'll enjoy either way~ sometimes I don't even gotta know about the thing you're talking about, I'll sit and listen and put some input in from time to time. I love it when people talk passionately about their interests, it'll pique my interest and then I'll try whatever you talked passionately about~

7. Dressing up with no occasion, I don't know if y'all realized but I love dressing up and seeing what you guys' wear, it's not ill intentioned, I just love picking outfits~ There are days I'll even pick a theme or subtlety dress up as a character, like Velma, Shrek, minion or most recently a librarian. I get so much excitement just thinking about what to wear, it's something I always look forward to~

8. A good lengthy walk, as much as I dislike exercising, I love a good walk, being able to look around and take in the things you may miss when driving. There's something so nice to just notice. To notice the bumps on the street, the messy graffiti, stickers and other perfect imperfections. Which is why I don't do running, if you see me running, it's not me, that's a fake! either that or someone threatened me to never bake again.

9. Aimlessly creating things, without a second thought or doubt, just creating a bunch of things is something love doing, though I don't create things often anymore. But I still do love just creating things with no plan and being happy with what I got, there's something poetic about just having done all the work and now you'll get wear/look at all the effort you put in it~

10. (I will not disclose until we surpass our 3-month anniversary)

Anywhooo, life is actually worth living when you notice the small things to make it 'perfect'. There we go this could be my version of The Map of Tiny Perfect Things!

  1. finally the one who romanticizes life the most is writing something about romantic stuff. I can agree with dancing, which is why I try my hardest to get into it even though I absoloutely SUCK. Ummm I hate how perfect characters are in movies such as mama mia. And how easily everything falls into place. "Oh no I'm single!" "hello lady" "Oo lala we love now!" NOT HOW RELATIONSHIPS WORK AND I HATE YOU. The first one was good, the second... HORRID. Especially that fucking jacket. conversations must go on forever or else we will NEVER be close (not really but you get what I mean) Awaiting num 10, will remind you in the three months. I hate perfection

    1. P IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE REALISTIC!! ITS JUST SUPPOSED TO BE COMFORTING, WHICH IS MY POINTT, but I agree with that jacket.
